The Houses In Between (2024)

Between Gallery Road and College Road, with Dulwich College to the south, lies a row of houses as central to Dulwich historically as they are geographically. Going from west to east, they are (or were): Brightlands; West House and Tiverton Lodge (which replaced Ivyholme, later renamed Tiverton, destroyed in 1944); Elm Lawn; The Orchard; The Blew House (now The Old Blew House); The Chestnuts; The Willows; Northcroft; and The Corner House (demolished in 1934).

Their collective history can be traced in greater detail, and for far further back, than that of any other properties in Dulwich — and perhaps anywhere in the world.
